Q: What can I expect in my Hook Box?

Every month, we put together a fabulous monthly box packed with amazing gifts, premium samples of wedding related items, and much much more specifically chosen for brides to be, which we will deliver gorgeously gift wrapped direct to your door.

Products received in our Hook Boxes will fall into the following categories:

 Q: Do I have to place an order each month?

No, we also have one time bride to be gift boxes that can be purchased via our shop. You can also purchase one off amazingly curated  Hook Boxes for bridesmaids, hens and festivals.  If you have signed up to our 12 month subscription, you will not need to place an order each month. Just wait for the postman to arrive with your box of goodies.

For all 3, 6 and 12 month susbcription boxes we require full prepayment in advance. All boxes will be delivered to your door after the 1st of every month.

Q: What subscription options are available?

When signing up for a 12 month Hook Box rolling subscription, payment will automatically be taken from your chosen account on or around the 28th of each month.

Q: I want to continue my subscription, what do I do?

Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew unless you cancel in your account. So, you don’t need to do anything! 

Q: Can I find out what is in my Hook Box?

We sometimes will show a sneak peek of products in upcoming boxes on our social media accounts. You can browse our website to get an idea of the brands and products that we have featured in previous boxes but we like to keep the exact details of our box contents a closely guarded secret to maintain the element of surprise.

Q: Where can I buy a product I like?

You can purchase the items you love and other products via the shop section of our website.

Q: Will I get the same product more than once?

You will not receive the same item twice for as long as you’re subscribed. Occasionally, you may receive the same brand, but the actual product will not be the same. For instance, we may feature a wedding-themed glass in one month and a coffee mug in another from the same supplier.



Q: When can I expect my first shipment?

Your Hook Box will ship on the 1st of the month. Once your box has shipped, you will receive an email to say your Box has been dispatched. Your box should arrive an estimated 3-7 business days after it ships. 

Q: Where do we ship to?

Currently, we only ship to locations within the UK, but please check our website for regular updates. Boxes are sent via Royal Mail second class as standard. With this service, the post office will drop deliver your box without signature confirmation. 

Q: How much does shipping cost?

Standard second class shipping via Royal Mail is included in our box costs.

Q: What if I want to change my address or billing information?

You can make changes to your billing and shipping information by e-mailing us at: hello@hookbox.co.uk, or by changing your information in your account.
Please complete any address changes before the first of the month. If you miss the deadline, then there is a risk that your Hook Box may go to the previous address we had on file for you and you will be subject to a re-shipping fee. Please refer to our T&Cs for more information. Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that your address is current and that you are able to receive parcels.

Q: What happens if I receive a damaged item?

If you receive a damaged or broken item in your box, please email us at hello@hookbox.co.uk and attach details and a photograph of the damaged item. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as long as you contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.


Q: When will I be billed for the monthly recurring membership?

You will be billed for your first month immediately upon placing your order for a monthly subscription. Please note that if your monthly subscription begins in a later month, you will still be billed at the time you place your first order. After the first month has completed, payment will automatically be taken from your chosen account on or around the 28th of every month until your subscription expires or you decide to cancel your monthly subscription.

Q: What happens if my order is not accepted?

Your account will automatically be placed on a billing hold when your billing information is not current (i.e., expiration date is incorrect, credit card number is no longer valid, etc.). When billing is processed at the beginning of the month, if your account is placed on a billing hold, you will receive an email notification alerting you that you have 48 hours to correct your billing information for your subscription. If you updated your billing within the allotted time frame but the information is incorrect, you will receive a follow up email notification as a reminder to change your billing, so that it can be processed. Please know that we cannot reserve that month’s box for you if the billing hold remains on your account. As indicated in the email notification, all subscriptions placed on billing holds that are not updated within 7 days will automatically be closed. While the subscription will be closed, your account will remain active, but will require you to create another subscription. We recommend using the same email address when creating a new subscription.


Q: What is your cancellation policy?

12 month subscriptions can be cancelled during the subscription period. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled during the subscription period at any point. If you would like to cancel your monthly subscription after receiving the first box, then please be sure to do so before the 26th of the month; otherwise you will continue to be billed for the following month’s box. There are no cancellation fees. In order to cancel your subscription, simply contact us via email at helloo@hookbox.co.uk.
